I don’t have two contacts that I can give – what do I do?
If you do not have a second person that you can list on your account, please let us know and we will work with you to set up a secondary verification method so we can confirm your identity when you send in requests.
-
I have not sent in my users – can I still call in and request resets or changes?
Yes; however, if you do not have an account in CPMS, you will have to set it up before you can see the credentials changes.
- How does CPMS protect my passwords?
CPMS uses the following features to ensure your information is as secure as possible:
• All data is encrypted on the server
• All web access is via HTTPS only – all data is transmitted to and from the server in an encrypted state
• Users can utilize Two Factor Authentication via Google Authenticator to further verify the user
• CPMS logs all user activity, so that if you suspect that someone else has obtained your password through CPMS, we can check to see if it was accessed and by which IP.
-
How will I be able to access my passwords?
Once your CPMS account is setup, you will be able to log in via any current web browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox) to access your information.
-
What if I forget my CPMS account login?
CPMS has a secure password reset system that uses your e-mail address to generate a one-time password reset code – you will not need to contact Smartt to have the password reset.
